The goal with a black granite floor (like Absolute Black) is to make it look like one giant slab. The grout is critical.

The Recommendation

Charcoal or Black Epoxy Grout. Do NOT use white or light grey—it will create a checkerboard pattern that ruins the sleekness. Epoxy grout is best because it is black all the way through and doesn't fade or stain. Sanded grout can look dusty/grey over time, ruining the jet-black effect.
