2. Black Forest (The Artist)
Origin: Northern India / Rajasthan.
Look: Obsidian black background with bold, sweeping white and grey veins. High movement.
Vibe: Organic, dramatic, natural.
Best For: Large kitchen islands, feature walls, fireplace surrounds.
Price: Generally lower than Premium Galaxy, offering high value.
The Verdict
If you want a consistent, sparkly look, choose Black Galaxy. If you want a stone that looks like a piece of abstract art or resembles black marble without the maintenance, choose Black Forest. Both are Mohs 7 hard and practically bulletproof.
