Black Galaxy Grading: The Difference Between Q1 and Q2

Black Galaxy is graded strictly on visual defects.

• Q1 (Premium): Even distribution of gold specks. Deep black background. No lines.
• Q2 (Standard): May have a "Galaxy Line" (a darker or lighter vein running through). Might have "clustering" where copper specks bunch up.
• Q3 (Commercial): Visible white lines or large black spots (moles).

For a high-end kitchen, always demand Q1. For a commercial floor where cost is key, Q2 is a great value option.
