Deep Black, Low Cost
Cuddapah Black (or Kota Black) Limestone offers a charcoal-to-black finish that is significantly cheaper than Absolute Black Granite. It is widely used for driveways, parking lots, and garden pathways due to its naturally flat surface.
The Fading Issue & Solution
Warning: Limestone is sensitive to UV rays. Without care, it can fade to a steel grey color over 1-2 years of direct sunlight.
The Fix: We recommend sealing Black Limestone with a "Back-to-Black" color-enhancing sealer immediately after installation. This locks in the deep charcoal hue and protects the stone for years.
