Designing with Veneer

When using ultra-thin Stone Veneer sheets (made from real Teakwood Sandstone), the way you arrange the sheets changes the wall design.

Slip Match (Sequence Match)

Sheets are placed side-by-side in the order they were peeled from the rock. The grain repeats but doesn't mirror. It creates a natural, flowing look, like a continuous piece of timber or river current. Best for long, horizontal feature walls.

Book Match

Every second sheet is flipped over. The grains meet to create a mirror image. This is harder to do with veneer than slabs, but creates dramatic kaleidoscope patterns for focal points like fireplace breasts.
