Butterfly Patterns
Bookmatching is the practice of matching two or more stone surfaces, so that two adjoining surfaces mirror each other, giving the impression of an open book. It turns a chaotic stone into a symmetric masterpiece.
The Process
We polish Slab 1 on the front, and Slab 2 on the back. When placed side-by-side, the veins connect. We select blocks with strong, directional veins—like Fantasy Brown or Rainforest Green—to create dramatic diamond or butterfly patterns for luxury lobbies.
