Stone is dense. A 20ft container will hit its weight limit (usually 27,000 kg for heavy-rated) long before it is full of volume. Understanding this is key to profitability.
Capacity Rules of Thumb
- 2cm Granite: Approx. 400-450 sqm per container.
- 3cm Granite: Approx. 280-300 sqm per container.
- Sandstone (22mm): Approx. 350-380 sqm per container.
