Modern Stone Tech

Almost all premium granite today is "Resined." Slabs are put in a vacuum chamber, and high-quality epoxy is sucked into the microscopic natural fissures.

Why We Do It

This doesn't fake the stone; it reinforces it. It turns a brittle exotic stone like Alaska White into a durable surface that won't chip during fabrication. It also allows the stone to take a much higher gloss polish because the epoxy fills the tiny pits between crystals.

Myth Buster: Resin does not change the color of the stone; it just enhances the clarity, like wetting a pebble on the beach.
