Designing the Staircase
Ordering pre-cut granite steps saves massive fabrication costs on site. But sizing varies by region.
Common Export Sizes
- USA: Treads 12" x 48" or 12" x 72". Risers 6" high. Usually 3cm thick with a bullnose edge.
- UK/Europe: Treads 30-33cm wide, 100-150cm long. Risers 15cm high. Usually 2cm or 3cm thick with anti-slip grooves.
- Dubai/Gulf: Larger formats, often 120cm - 150cm lengths. Tan Brown is a favorite here.
