Thickness Tolerance: Why Your Granite Floor Isn't Flat

The Millimeter Matters

When granite is cut, the saw blade can wobble. A "Sawn" slab might be 18mm at one end and 22mm at the other. If you lay this on a floor, you get "lippage"—edges sticking up that trip people.

The Solution: Calibration. We run the slabs through a grinding machine that flattens the back. Ruvello guarantees a tolerance of +/- 1mm on all Steel Grey tiles, ensuring a perfectly flat mirror floor.
