Harder than Steel
Hassan Green is legendary for its hardness (it is a Trocolite). It is incredibly difficult to cut but takes a polish that lasts decades without fading.
The Look
It is often mistaken for black granite indoors due to its depth. But in sunlight, it reveals a deep, petrol-green hue with starry white speckles. It is the preferred flooring for Indian temples, mosques, and high-traffic railway stations because it is virtually scratch-proof and hides dirt better than black.
