Grading the Stone
Granite is natural, but export quality is strictly graded.
- First Choice (Premium): Consistent color, no veins (unless it's a movement stone), no visible pits. Perfect for countertops.
- Standard (Commercial): Minor color variation or a small black spot (mole). Good for large floors.
- Second Choice: Visible hairline cracks, large color blobs, or filled pits. Sold cheap for cutting into small tiles.
At Ruvello, we only export First Choice materials like Black Galaxy Q1.
