1. Extraction

It starts in the quarry, where massive blocks are cut using wire saws. Each block weighs 20-30 tons.

2. Gangsaw Cutting

The block travels to the factory where a giant machine with 80+ steel blades (the Gangsaw) slices it into 2cm or 3cm slabs, like a loaf of bread. This takes 2-3 days!

3. Resin & Polish

Slabs are treated with epoxy resin in a vacuum chamber to fill micro-fissures and then polished by a 20-head automated line to achieve that glass-like finish.
