Physics of Shipping
If a crate shifts in the container, it acts like a battering ram. We use heavy-duty wooden A-Frames to keep gangsaw slabs upright (stone is strong vertically, weak horizontally).
Safety Measures
- Lashing: We use steel wire or industrial polyester straps to tie the crates to the container floor hooks.
- Chocking: We nail wooden blocks to the floor to prevent sliding.
- Air Bags: We inflate heavy-duty dunnage bags in the gaps between crates to act as shock absorbers.
We take photos of every completed load for your insurance records before closing the doors.
