Flexible vs. Rigid

Sand Bed (Flexible): Best for DIY garden paths using Raj Green Sandstone. It allows water to drain through and accommodates ground movement without cracking. However, weeds can grow in the joints.

Mortar/Concrete Base (Rigid): Essential for driveways carrying vehicles. Using Steel Grey Cobbles set in wet mortar creates a solid, permanent surface that won't shift under the weight of an SUV. You must use a slurry primer on the back of the stones to ensure adhesion.
