Defining the Edge

Pool coping is the stone cap that goes around the pool shell. It needs to be non-slip and comfortable to sit on. At Ruvello, we fabricate Teakwood Sandstone coping in two main profiles:

1. Bullnose (Rounded)

The classic choice. The edge is fully rounded like a half-circle. It is safe for kids (no sharp corners), comfortable to grab, and traditional in style. Usually supplied in 30mm or 40mm thickness.

2. Drop Face (Rebate/Apron)

The modern luxury choice. The stone turns down at a 90-degree angle, making the coping look 60mm-100mm thick (a solid block look) without the massive weight. It hides the water line adhesive and gives the pool a seamless, architectural finish.
