Two Worlds of Stone

India is a continent of geology. The granite mined in the North is distinct from the South.

South India (The Black & Red Belt)

Home of hard, dark stones. Absolute Black, Black Galaxy, Tan Brown. Generally harder and take a higher gloss polish.

North India (The Colorful Belt)

Rajasthan produces vibrant, multi-colored stones like Crystal Yellow, Rosy Pink, and Lakha Red. While slightly softer than their southern cousins, they offer colors found nowhere else and are often cheaper due to lower mining costs.
