The Tension Problem
Large porcelain slabs (like Aarezo Blue) are manufactured under immense pressure. They hold internal tension. If you just cut straight into them, they can shatter.
The Fix: Relief Cuts
Before making a cut, you must drill small holes at the corners of any cutout (like a sink). Also, make a shallow "relief cut" along the cut line before cutting all the way through. This releases the surface tension gently.
