Hardness vs. Aesthetics
Granite Cobbles: Indestructible. Can handle heavy trucks. Colors are usually Grey/Black (like Steel Grey). Best for roads and driveways.
Sandstone Cobbles: Softer and warmer (Beige, Pink, Mint). Best for garden paths and pedestrian zones. Over time, the edges round off, giving a soft, historic look. They weather beautifully but are not recommended for heavy vehicular traffic.
