A shipping container endures massive G-forces during a storm. If 27 tons of granite shifts, it will punch through the steel walls of the container.
The Ruvello Loading Protocol
- Weight Distribution: We balance the load over the center of the container to prevent the truck from tipping.
- A-Frames: We never lay slabs flat. We stand them vertically on heavy-duty wooden A-frames. Stone is strong in compression (vertical) but weak in tension (horizontal).
- Lashing: We use industrial steel wire or polyester straps to tie the crates to the floor hooks.
- Air Bags: We fill every inch of void space with inflated dunnage bags. This locks the cargo in place. If it can't move, it can't break.
This ensures your Absolute Black arrives in New York exactly as it left our factory in India.
