Scale Changes Everything
Sourcing stone for a single kitchen is easy. Sourcing for a 300-room hotel or a shopping mall is a logistical challenge. Consistency, price, and supply chain reliability become the only metrics that matter.
1. The Consistency Challenge
Natural stone varies. If you buy "Exotic" granite, Block A will look different from Block B. For a large project, you need the lobby floor to look uniform.
The Solution: You must choose "Commercial Grade" stones with massive quarry deposits.
Top Pick: Steel Grey. The quarry in Andhra Pradesh is enormous. We can supply 100 containers that all look identical.
Second Pick: Tan Brown. A staple for exterior cladding due to its consistency.
2. Cut-to-Size (Prefab) vs. Slabs
Slabs: You import raw slabs and hire local fabricators. This gives you flexibility but costs 3x more in labor.
Cut-to-Size: We fabricate the vanity tops, window sills, and thresholds in our Indian factory to your CAD drawings. They arrive numbered and crated, ready to install.
Savings: This can save a developer 40% on the total stone budget.
3. Logistics & Lead Time
A large project requires a "Just-In-Time" delivery schedule. You don't want 50 containers arriving on Day 1. Ruvello manages the supply chain, releasing containers from the port in stages to match your construction phases (Flooring Phase, Cladding Phase, Interiors Phase).
4. Durability Specs
Commercial floors see millions of footsteps.
Hardness: Specify a granite with a Mohs hardness of 6+.
Finish: Never use Polished for exterior paving (slip hazard). Use Flamed or Bush-Hammered.
Thickness: For driveways, 30mm or 50mm is mandatory. 20mm will crack under vehicles.
