The Rorschach Test of Stone
Bookmatching is polishing slab 1 on the front and slab 2 on the back. When opened like a book, the veins mirror each other. It creates diamonds, hearts, and butterflies.
The Cost
It is expensive because it requires premium blocks with strong directional veins (like Fantasy Brown). Uniform stones cannot be bookmatched. Also, installation requires a master craftsman to align the veins perfectly across the seam.
