Resin is the Weak Link

Quartz surfaces like Crystal White are 93% stone and 7% resin. While the stone is hard, the resin can chemically react with strong dyes.

The Turmeric Test

In Indian cooking, turmeric is a potent dye. If left on white quartz overnight, it can bond with the resin, leaving a permanent yellow mark. High-alkaline cleaners can also damage the resin bond.

The Fix: Wipe spills immediately. For tough stains, use a non-abrasive cream cleanser (like Cif or Bar Keepers Friend) and a non-scratch pad. Avoid bleach.
